Example: a cursor opens Vijay’s chat. Vijay says, “Hi Nanba! Enna plan innikku?” The user asks for help focusing for 25 minutes. Vijay responds, “Namma start pannalaam, Nanba! Pick one task, set 25 minutes, and put the phone aside. Small step, big win!”

BYOK means you connect your own Gemini API key in Character settings. A premium companion unlocks AI Chat, and your own key connects it to Gemini.
Free companions include animations and local productivity tools. AI Chat is exclusive to premium products and requires your own Gemini API key.

Get your Gemini API key.
Use your own Google AI Studio account and review the provider’s usage terms.

Connect it in the app.
Open Character settings and enter your key there. Keep it private; the store never asks you to paste it at checkout.

Choose a mode and say hello.
Open Chat with companion. Start fresh or return to one of your saved conversations.
Bring your material.
Send JPEG, PNG, PDF or supported text files with your message. Attachments are sent to Gemini when you press Send. Reattach a file if you need its contents again after restarting.
A room that feels like you.
Choose Light, Dark or Device appearance and an accent colour. Keep separate conversations and personalize your character’s chat personality.
Keep the conversation.
Conversations are saved locally on your device. Start a new chat, return to an earlier one, or delete a conversation from the app.
Where do my messages and files go?
AI messages and attached material are sent to Gemini to generate a reply and are subject to the provider’s policies. Local history keeps the conversation and attachment filenames; the original attachment is not retained in chat history. Local history does not mean AI processing happens offline.
Can my companion answer live questions?
Your companion answers using the knowledge of the connected AI model, which may not include recent events. For up-to-date topics such as news or weather, Free Chat can offer an “Open live results” button that opens web results in your browser, helping you check current sources instead of relying on an outdated answer.
Do I need ChatGPT or a subscription from this store?
No ChatGPT installation is needed. AI Chat connects using your own Gemini API key.
Will the AI always be right?
AI can make mistakes. Check important answers and use Learning Companion as study support. Word Wizard’s test cadence is an in-chat reminder, not a background notification.
