Meet your new deskmate.

1. Choose your download

Open your order email or My Account → Downloads. Your purchase includes Windows and macOS archives; choose the one for your computer.

2. Extract and open

Extract the complete archive and read its included installation guide. On Windows, run DesktopCompanion.exe or the included launcher and keep its files together. On Mac, open the included .app and follow the release’s first-launch instructions.

3. Make it yours

Open the character menu to choose the character, size and daily goal. Use Character settings for movement, sound, alert categories and Quiet mode. Add a countdown, save a sprint or set a gentle break.

4. Connect AI Chat

If you have a premium companion and want AI replies, get a Gemini API key from your own Google AI Studio account. Enter it in Character settings, then choose Chat with companion. Select Free Chat, Word Wizard or Learning Companion.

5. Keep your key private

Enter your key only in the desktop app’s settings. Do not paste it into checkout, a public review or a support enquiry. Your provider’s API limits and charges apply separately.
