Privacy Policy — demo

Demo details — replace before launch. This page contains sample business information for the Local website preview.

Sample business details

Desktop Companions Demo · support@example.com. Replace this with your legal business name and a working privacy contact.

Store information

The store handles order details, account information, support enquiries and submitted reviews through WordPress and WooCommerce. Payments are handled by the payment provider selected at checkout. Replace this section with your actual processors, retention periods and customer rights process.

AI Chat

The companion connects to Gemini using your own API key. Messages and attachments submitted for AI replies are sent to Gemini and are subject to the provider’s policies. Conversation history is saved locally; it includes attachment filenames and responses, not the original attachment. Optional AI wording of awareness cues may use category-based prompts; window titles and song metadata are not included.

Contact and review uploads

Reference uploads are used to respond to custom-companion requests. Submitted reviews and photos can appear publicly after approval and consent. Do not include API keys in any store form.

Before public launch

Replace this demo policy with the final policy for your business, jurisdiction and actual data-handling practices.
